Announcement to Interested Players - June 20, 2011 We would like to take this opportunity to formally announce the creation of a brand new women's tackle football team located in the Louisville, Ky area. The "Derby City Dynamite" is looking forward to starting play in the 2012 season. We would like to offer you the opportunity to play Women's Semi-Professional Football in Kentucky. A stress-free and drama-free organization is our goal. This new team is comprised of a board of veteran players from various teams, who have come up with a business plan that we think could be very successful. Together, we hope to start a winning tradition once again in Women's Tackle Football in Kentucky. Everyone is welcome to try-out, but with that being said there are some attributes that will help you to be successful. We hope to have a roster of 50 ladies, so that we do NOT have to play IRON WOMAN football, which has been proven to be unsuccessful. We will offer you great Coaches, the opportunity to play a team sport, camaraderie, and the chance to REBUILD Kentucky's winning tradition. What we need from each of you is the willingness to be dedicated, disciplined, committed and to learn. The reason that we say you have the opportunity to try out is because everyone is starting fresh. We will all be rookies, everyone must tryout for positions, and the coaches will decide where we best fit the team. "CUTS" can be made from this team. Football is not for everyone, but we hope it's for you. More information will be coming out soon, but don't hesitate to contact us with any questions, comments or concerns!
